Two individuals have gone missing and are feared drowned after their vehicle, a pickup loading truck, plunged into the Ganga river in the Teen Dhara area of Tehri district. The incident occurred on Friday, prompting the State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) to initiate a search operation.
Despite extensive efforts by the SDRF, the missing persons have yet to be located. Divers discovered the submerged vehicle at a depth of approximately 30-40 feet, but no one was found inside. The search continues as authorities work diligently to find the missing individuals.
The SDRF has secured the vehicle with ropes, and it is scheduled to be hauled out of the river using a crane on Saturday. The community remains on edge as hopes for finding the missing persons dwindle.
