Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi has called for the proper management of differences and enhancement of practical cooperation between China and the European Union. According to a report by the official Xinhua news agency on Saturday, Wang underscored the importance of joint efforts in tackling global challenges.
During discussions with his German and French counterparts, held on the sidelines of the Munich Security Conference, Wang emphasized that China's development should be seen as an opportunity for Europe.
Xinhua reports that Wang also made it clear that the challenges faced by Europe are not attributed to China, urging a collaborative approach to strengthen bilateral relations.
