Tri-City Drug Bust: Heroin Seized in Samba

In a significant crackdown on drug trafficking, police in Jammu and Kashmir's Samba district arrested three individuals allegedly involved in drug peddling. The suspects were found with 7.85 grams of heroin.
The accused, Shahid Shafiq from Kupwara, along with Younis Rafiq and Kamran Farooq from Srinagar, were intercepted while traveling through Vijaypur.
A police spokesperson confirmed that a case under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act was registered against them, highlighting ongoing efforts to curb drug-related activities in the region.
