U.S. President Donald Trump has revealed that member states of the Board of Peace are poised to pledge more than $5 billion dedicated to rebuilding and humanitarian initiatives in Gaza.
Announced on Truth Social, Trump stated that alongside financial commitments, member states will also provide thousands of personnel to serve in a U.N.-authorized stabilization force and local police within the Palestinian enclave.
The pivotal assembly, hosted at the recently renamed Donald J. Trump Institute of Peace, will be attended by delegations from over 20 countries. The initiative follows a UN Security Council resolution supporting Trump's plan to resolve the conflict between Israel and Hamas, despite ongoing ceasefire violations.
