An alarming incident unfolded in Delhi's Rohini as a three-day-old infant was reportedly abducted by an unidentified woman at Dr Baba Saheb Ambedkar Hospital, officials disclosed.
According to the police statement, the incident triggered an extensive search operation after a PCR call was made to the North Rohini police station at around 9 am. The suspected kidnapping took place when the mother, Sahin, a resident of Narela, entrusted her newborn to a woman in the labor ward.
Police are meticulously scrutinizing CCTV footage, questioning hospital staff, and checking visitor records to solve this case. Alerts have been issued across various districts to thwart any escape attempt by the suspect.
