CRPF Director General GP Singh confidently declared that Naxalism is on the brink of extinction, predicting its complete eradication by March 2026. This statement came during the DG's Parade in Guwahati, where Singh outlined the force's achievements through collaborative operations with security agencies.
Highlighting the remarkable success of joint missions over the past year, he acknowledged the pivotal role of the General Duty battalion and CoBRA Commandos. Singh emphasized the CRPF's continued efforts to maintain law and order in tightly contested areas, citing efforts in Jammu and Kashmir and Manipur.
The event also honored the sacrifices of CRPF personnel, celebrating their bravery and dedication. Singh used the occasion to applaud their work under challenging conditions, aiming to boost morale through recognition, awards, and welfare measures for personnel and their families.
