Madhya Pradesh police training schools have been instructed to broadcast the 'Dakshinamurti Stotram' at dawn as part of their daily regimen. This new initiative, led by Additional Director General Raja Babu Singh, aims to instill empathy and sensitivity in the trainees.

The decision follows earlier directives to hold Bhagavad Gita and Ramcharitmanas recital sessions. Singh believes these measures help shape trainees into good human beings and professional policemen.

Singh, a 1994-batch IPS officer, said playing these spiritual hymns will enhance the overall training experience for the 4,000 men and women set to join the Madhya Pradesh police force soon.
