Kerala High Court Questions Alleged Political Bias in Government Ads

The court has mandated the state government to respond within 10 days on the issue's maintainability. The petitions suggest these ads were strategically released with the upcoming Assembly polls in focus.

Petitioners Muhammed Shiyas and Sharon D Panakkal argue that the ads misuse public funds for political gain, violating constitutional principles. They maintain that such actions disturb fair political competition, as guaranteed under Article 14.
