An Indian national, Akash Tiwari, has been formally charged in Singapore for allegedly molesting and harassing an air stewardess during a flight from Bangkok to Singapore last month, according to local media sources.

Tiwari, aged 35, faces charges of using criminal force to outrage the modesty of the stewardess onboard a Singapore Airlines flight. It is alleged that he initiated non-consensual physical contact, causing distress through threatening behavior.

The alleged incident took place on February 9, with Tiwari pleading not guilty. Authorities were informed of the incident at approximately 4:30 pm, leading to his arrest upon landing. He will appear in court again on March 26. Singapore's legal system ensures strict repercussions for such offenses.
