On Tuesday, Lt Gen P K Mishra conducted a thorough review of operational readiness along the Line of Control (LoC) in Jammu's Akhnoor sector, according to officials.
The General Officer Commanding (GOC) of the White Knight Corps, along with the GOC of the Crossed Swords Division, visited the forward areas where Mishra interacted with the deployed troops, receiving briefings on initiatives to fortify defenses and boost operational efficiency.
The GOC lauded the troops for their morale and professionalism, asserting the importance of constant vigilance and dominance at the LoC. The visit comes on the heels of thwarting an infiltration in Nowshera, highlighting the army's continual focus on maintaining an impenetrable frontier.
