In a resolute address, Jammu and Kashmir Lt Governor Manoj Sinha warned separatist forces against any attempts to disrupt peace in the Union territory. Sinha emphasized that any threats to law and order or civilian safety will face severe repercussions.
Addressing a parade of constables in Talwara, the L-G commended the Jammu and Kashmir Police's pivotal role in pursuing a terror-free, harmonious society. He urged new recruits to exceed public expectations with integrity and empathy, highlighting law enforcement's vital role in upholding citizen dignity and security.
The ceremony saw 430 trainee constables complete their rigorous training. Trophies were awarded to standout trainees, and senior officials, including Director General of Police Nalin Prabhat, were present. The L-G reiterated a zero-tolerance policy towards terrorism, working on a comprehensive strategy to ensure peace and progress.
