Turkey is gearing up to expand its energy infrastructure with plans to construct eight nuclear reactors in the northern province of Sinop and the Thrace region. This ambitious project was announced by Energy Minister Alparslan Bayraktar during an interview with NTV.

The nation is currently in negotiations with international partners including South Korea, Canada, China, and Russia. Minister Bayraktar emphasized that while discussions are ongoing, no binding agreements have been signed yet.
