On Wednesday, Iranian energy facilities in the South Pars gas field and Asaluyeh were targeted, prompting retaliatory strikes by Iran on U.S.-linked energy sites in Gulf nations. These included the Ras Laffan Industrial City in Qatar, the world's largest LNG complex.

According to reports, the Iranian armed forces have warned that any further strikes on Iran's energy infrastructure will lead to increasingly severe responses. The Iranian government views these attacks as attempts to destabilize the region, necessitating a united regional front.
