Stray Dog Attacks Spark Outrage in Sujanpur Tira and Hamirpur

The menace of stray dogs is haunting the residents of Sujanpur Tira and Hamirpur, with ten individuals, including a schoolgirl, recently bitten. In a disturbing incident, a stray dog severely injured a nine-year-old girl en route to school in Hamirpur's Ward 5.

Sujanpur market has also witnessed escalated attacks, with nine people bitten over three days. Despite previous vaccination drives, municipal efforts remain insufficient, causing distress among locals.

Residents demand action, emphasizing the need for capturing and relocating stray dogs. Municipal Commissioner Rakesh Kumar Sharma has acknowledged the aggression and pledged to address the situation, yet anxiety persists in the community.
