In light of technological disruptions and global uncertainties, effective governance necessitates adaptive capabilities, Principal Secretary P K Mishra stated. Launching the 'Sadhana Saptah', a national initiative, he stressed continuous learning for public servants to stay committed and citizen-centric.

Organized by the Capacity Building Commission, 'Sadhana Saptah' spans April 2-8, promoting constant learning systems via platforms like iGOT. This embodies a shift from episodic training to continuous, role-based learning, crucial for effecting change in governance, according to Mishra and other officials.

Highlighting the impact of the Mission Karmayogi initiative, officials noted the transformation within the capacity-building sector. Over 1.5 crore users engage with iGOT for competency-based education, having completed more than 8 crore courses. This underscores the initiative's role in establishing a more skilled, citizen-centric civil service, aligned with national goals.
