Coty Denies Selling Prestige Brand Licenses Amid Rumors

Coty has firmly dismissed rumors about the potential sale of its prestigious brand licenses, which include Hugo Boss and Burberry. The luxury news outlet Miss Tweed had reported that discussions were underway with Interparfums, a claim Coty swiftly denied.

In an official statement to Reuters, a Coty representative stated that any suggestion Coty is negotiating the sale or transfer of these licenses is "categorically false and without merit." The company stands firm in its stance against such speculation.

Interparfums CEO Philippe Benacin echoed Coty's denial, stating unequivocally that no discussions are taking place. The situation remains static with no plans for change in Coty's brand license holdings.
