In a significant breakthrough, Gurugram police have detained two individuals, including a property company's director, for their involvement in a real estate fraud. The suspects, Devendra Pandey and Naveen Kumar, allegedly obtained a complainant's property through dubious means, failing to provide any promised returns.
This deceitful transaction was rooted in the 'Park Street' project in Sector 85, where the victim was persuaded to invest on false pretenses. Promised attractive returns, the victim instead suffered financial losses as the accused failed to honor their commitments.
The investigation uncovered that Pandey orchestrated the scam with Kumar playing a broker's role, netting Rs 8 lakh illicitly. Authorities are continuing their probe to uncover further details and hold the culprits accountable.
