Road Rage Rampage: Fruit Truck Chase in Nanded
Seven people were arrested for attacking a truck driver and his assistant in Maharashtra's Nanded district, following a road rage incident where a truck allegedly brushed past them. While the driver suffered minor injuries, the assistant was seriously hurt. The police are investigating, and legal action has been initiated.

In a dramatic road rage incident in Maharashtra's Nanded district, seven individuals were apprehended for allegedly attacking a truck driver and his assistant, following a high-speed chase spanning 20 to 30 kilometers.
The incident unfolded on Friday night when a group, traveling in vehicles and on a motorcycle, claimed they were enraged after their vehicles were brushed by a fruit-laden truck near Hadgaon. The chase ended near Umarkhed in Yavatmal district, where the assailants reportedly assaulted the truck duo with sticks and other weapons.
While driver Alwin Pies suffered minor injuries, his assistant Mohammed Nadaf Nisar Qureshi was hospitalized with serious injuries. Police have registered an FIR against eight suspects, with seven already in custody. A senior officer refuted exaggerated communal angles to the attack, confirming ongoing verifications and legal action.
