Engineer Falls Victim to Rs 1.45 Lakh Lottery Scam
An engineer in Manesar was duped of Rs 1.45 lakh in a fake lottery scam. Lured by the promise of a Rs 10 lakh prize, he transferred money as supposed fees. Realizing the scam after additional demands, he reported the incident, prompting a police investigation.

An engineer employed in Manesar has reportedly been swindled of Rs 1.45 lakh in a fake lottery scheme. The fraudulent activity commenced when an advertisement on Facebook enticed him with a Rs 10 lakh prize, according to local police reports.
The victim, identified as Satyam Kumar Tiwari from Madhya Pradesh, followed the deceptive instructions to transfer funds for what he believed were registration fees and GST. His suspicions were raised when more money was requested, leading him to understand he had been deceived.
Subsequently, Tiwari filed a complaint, resulting in an FIR registration at Manesar's cyber-crime police station. Authorities have launched an investigation to track down the perpetrators behind this elaborate scam.
