While his Z-category police protection remains intact, extra area security measures have been withdrawn. This includes the removal of scissor barricades that once stood at his Harish Mukherjee Road residence.

The updated protocol means no advance route checks will be conducted for Banerjee, reflecting a shift in the approach to his security management.
