In a bold move, B Sumathi, the newly appointed Malkajgiri Police Commissioner, conducted an undercover operation hours after taking charge to evaluate the law and order situation in Dilsukhnagar. Disguised in plainclothes, she roamed the streets in the early hours of May 1.

Her objective was to gain a firsthand understanding of the area's safety dynamics, particularly concerning women's safety. Engaging directly with the environment, she stood alone for some time, gathering critical insights into public behavior and police presence.

During this covert operation, approximately 30-40 individuals were counseled by Sumathi regarding their conduct towards women.
