The national capital has recorded over 2.7 lakh cases, with a charge-sheeting rate of merely 31.9% — the lowest among all metro areas. This highlights the complexity involved in bringing offenders to justice.

Despite a notable 14.8% drop in crime since the previous year, Delhi's crime density remains unmatched at 1,688 crimes per lakh population.
