BJP Rallies Over Jharkhand's Water and Power Crisis

In a concerted effort to highlight ongoing water and electricity shortages, the BJP organized protests at various district collectorates across Jharkhand on Tuesday. The protests were marked by symbolic gestures, such as carrying earthen pots, to signify water scarcity.

Spearheaded by state BJP president Aditya Sahu, the demonstrations in Ranchi saw participation from high-profile figures including Union Minister of State for Defence Sanjay Seth and former Chief Minister Arjun Munda. Protesters fervently demanded uninterrupted basic services, while Seth criticized the state government for prioritizing political tourism over public welfare.

As the BJP accused the JMM-led government of rampant corruption and failing governance, the ruling parties countered by highlighting the BJP's own history of neglected infrastructure projects during their tenure. Both parties continue to exchange accusations as the state's basic infrastructure issues persist.
