Jharkhand Police Crackdown: Major Seizure of Narcotics and Illegal Liquor

In a major crackdown against narcotics and illegal trade, the Jharkhand Police seized drugs and illicit foreign liquor valued over Rs 8.85 lakh and apprehended 12 individuals during operations across four districts.
In Ranchi, law enforcement officials detained six suspects, including a 55-year-old woman, and confiscated significant quantities of brown sugar, ganja, and cash. ASP Nikhil Rai confirmed the arrests and the recovery of illegal substances valued at over Rs 4.60 lakh.
Additional operations in Chatra, Khunti, and Hazaribag districts resulted in more arrests and the seizing of drugs, a motorcycle, weapons, and illegal liquor. The swift actions reflect the police's commitment to curbing illegal activities across the region.
