A four-year-old boy, Gurkaran Singh, fell into a borewell in Punjab's Hoshiarpur district on Friday evening. Authorities have launched a massive rescue operation to save him.
The incident occurred in Chak Samana village near Bhikhowal. Local and national response teams, including NDRF, have been deployed to assist in the rescue.
The borewell was around 250 feet deep, and efforts are concentrated around the 20 to 25 feet depth where the child is believed to be trapped. Community members and officials remain hopeful of a successful rescue.
