In Telangana, a comprehensive revision of the state's electoral rolls is set to commence on June 15, as announced by Chief Electoral Officer C Sudharshan Reddy.
With a focus on accuracy, the initiative will deploy 35,000 Booth Level Officers to oversee house-to-house verification from June 25 to July 24, collecting filled-out enumeration forms from residents.
The draft electoral rolls will be open for public claims and objections from July 31 to August 30, with the finalized list published on October 1, aiming to ensure no eligible voter is excluded.
