On Monday, three private schools were rattled by bomb threat emails, which led to immediate anti-sabotage operations, authorities stated. Despite exhaustive searches revealing no threats, the emails spurred significant fear among parents who rushed to the schools.

Upon receiving the emails, school administrations promptly contacted the police. Law enforcement, alongside bomb disposal squads, swiftly descended on the campuses, executing evacuations and establishing secure perimeters as part of the precautionary measures.

This incident adds to a growing list of hoax threats, with five occurrences reported in the city since January. Authorities noted similar trends in neighboring Punjab and Haryana, and efforts are ongoing to trace the emails' origins via the cyber cell.
