Police have arrested seven women in connection with an alleged prostitution network reportedly operating from rented residences in the city. The arrests followed an investigative operation carried out by the Central Crime Branch's Women Protection Squad, prompted by reliable tips from informants.

The investigation revealed that rented homes were allegedly used for running the prostitution activities, coercing women into involvement. During these raids, seven women accused of managing the ring were apprehended, while authorities rescued five individuals from the premises. Police reported that those detained admitted to contacting potential clients via phone for financial gain. Legal cases have been initiated at multiple police stations as the investigation continues.
