Neighbor Arrested for Assaulting Young Girl in Faridabad

The young victim, originally from Bihar, has been residing with her uncle for the past six years. The event unfolded during a neighborhood celebration when the suspect allegedly lured her into his home.

The girl's prolonged absence prompted her family to search for her, leading to a review of nearby CCTV footage. The video exposed the suspect escorting the victim to his residence. Despite initial searches, the girl was eventually discovered unconscious on a rooftop, near a water tank. Upon regaining consciousness, she revealed the assault. An FIR has been filed under the POCSO Act, and the suspect is in custody, facing interrogation.
