An unprecedented military exercise named 'Pragati 2026' concluded in Umroi, Meghalaya, drawing together armed forces from 13 nations, focusing on counter-insurgency and mutual trust in the Indian Ocean region.

Hosted by the Indian Army, the exercise engaged over 400 soldiers in various tactical operations, including IED detection and special heliborne maneuvers, while also discussing advanced technology's role in tactical improvements.
