Dhananjay Deshmukh, the brother of the murdered sarpanch from Beed, is embroiled in a legal battle after allegations of attempted murder surfaced against him. Police registered a case after Deshmukh allegedly threatened Samadhan Khindkar with a gun following a confrontation at a hotel.

This altercation took place when Khindkar was showcasing a live Instagram feed, which led to Deshmukh's bodyguard allegedly seizing his phone. Deshmukh purportedly escalated the situation by pointing a gun at Khindkar and warning him to stay out of his business. Deshmukh disputes these claims, asserting that neither he nor his bodyguard participated in any such conduct.

Law enforcement has filed charges under various sections related to attempted murder and intimidation, though no arrests have been made at this time. In a move to address these claims, Deshmukh plans to meet with Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, seeking clarity on this situation which stems from earlier violence linked to a sarpanch murder case.
