Escalation in the Gulf: Iran's Strike on U.S. Fifth Fleet

Iran’s Revolutionary Guards have announced an assault on the U.S. Fifth Fleet stationed in Bahrain. This retaliatory drone attack follows American strikes on southern Iranian regions earlier the same day, according to state-run media sources.

The Guards issued a stern warning, cautioning that a more intense retribution could follow if U.S. actions, deemed as 'aggression' by Iran, continue.

In the aftermath of the U.S. strikes, damage was reported to include a telecommunications tower and two water tanks within the Iranian port of Sirik.
