Former OSU Club Dive Coach William Bohonyi has been sentenced to 2 years in prison on sexual battery charges involving a 16-year-old diver from New Albany, according to media reports. Bohonyi, 33, was an assistant coach with Ohio State when the allegations first came to light in 2014, and the university subsequently put him on administrative leave while the police launched an investigation.
The diver, Estee Pryor, shared her allegations publicly and blames Bohonyi of coercing her into sexual acts when she was just 16-years-old. The case was widely reported after sparked massive outrage among the public.
