China says issues for foreign firms over virus to be resolved soon

China's commerce ministry said on Thursday the problems faced by foreign firms in resuming work in the country after restrictions imposed over the coronavirus outbreak will soon be resolved, as Beijing guides its major industries to restart production.

Chinese commerce ministry officials also told reporters during an online briefing that China has not seen a major shift of supply or manufacturing chains out of the country despite the outbreak, noting that some foreign companies continue to expand investment in the country.
