In Barser village, an 18-year-old girl lost her life allegedly at the hands of her family after a dispute over a phone conversation. The tragic incident unfolded on Monday night, prompting police to take swift action.
Mahendra Kashyap, the girl's father, along with his sons Akash and Aman, reportedly assaulted Kranti following a confrontation about her phone use. The next day, a suspicious neighbor raised the alarm, leading to the discovery of the true cause of her death through a post-mortem. The autopsy revealed that strangulation was the cause of death, resulting in the detention of the accused.
Additional investigation is in progress after a case was lodged by Kranti's uncle. The authorities are gathering evidence, and all three suspects remain in custody.
