Chilly day in Delhi

It was a chilly day in the national capital with the minimum temperature settling at 4.5 degrees Celsius, two notches below the average in the season.

"The maximum temperature was recorded at 21.5 degrees Celsius, two notches above normal while the minimum was recorded at 4.5 degrees Celsius," a MeT official said.

The humidity levels oscillated between 100 and 52 per cent.

The weatherman has predicted moderate fog on Saturday morning with possibility of haze and smog thereafter.

The maximum and minimum temperatures would be around 22 and 4 degrees Celsius respectively.

On Thursday, the maximum and minimum temperatures were 21.3 degrees and 4.5 degrees Celsius respectively.
