Father-son duo electrocuted

A father-son duo died of electrocution when they were watering their crops with a water booster pump in the Khatoli area here, police said Saturday. Ramnivas Meena, 65, and his son Giriraj Meena, 25, of Kakawada village died most likely of electric shock when they were watering the crops Friday night, Sub-Inspector, Khatoli police station, Deshraj Gujjar said.

Their bodies were recovered near an electric pole near a tube well in the fields, he said. The bodies were handed over to the family members after post-mortem and the matter is being investigated, police said.
