Congress in Telangana has requestedthe Election Commission to take action against the ChiefSecretary and government officials for allegedly violating themodel code of conduct for the April 11 Lok Sabha polls byreleasing a report here on the governments achievments
In a complaint to the EC on Saturday, G Niranjan,Convener,Election Commission Coordination Committee of stateCongress, said Chief Secretary S K Joshi and other officialsreleased the report on April 5, "just five days before theelections, which is against the Model Code of Conduct (MCC)." He alleged that the report was delibarately released atthis point of time just to benefit the ruling TRS
