A Naxal was killed in an encounter with a joint team of 205 Cobra troops and Bihar Police in Gaya's Lutua in the wee hours of Saturday. CoBRA troops recovered the Naxal's body and an AK-47 rifle during a post-encounter search.

During post operations search, troops further recovered 2 Kilograms of an improvised explosive device (IED) which was destroyed on the spot. AK 47 ammunitions were also recovered. More details are awaited.
