3 held for abusive calls to Thane police control room

Three people, including two teens,were Monday arrested for phoning the Thane police control roomrepeatedly and abusing women constables on duty there, anofficial said

Mukesh Saxena (19), Girish Saxena (19) and Asu Goud(25) called in over 50 times from different numbers betweenmidnight and 1 am, he said

"We traced the calls to Manpada area and arrested thethree. They have been charged under sections 354 (outragingmodesty of woman) and 186 (obstructing public servant indischarge of public functions) of the IPC," said SeniorInspector Mangesh Sawant of Thane Nagar police station.
