Biden urges US Congress to approve additional border money

U.S. President Joe Biden on Friday called on U.S. lawmakers to approve his supplemental funding request for the federal government that includes additional money to address the U.S. border.

Biden, delivering remarks as he kicked off a meeting with leaders from Latin America and the Caribbean at the White House, said the region was affirming its shared approach on migration, including the expansion of safe and legal migration pathways.
