Former U.S. official looks forward to continuity from new Taiwan president

The United States looks forward to continuity in the Taiwan-U.S. relationship under the new Taiwanese administration, former U.S. National Security Advisor Stephen Hadley told Taiwan President Tsai Ing-wen on Monday.

Hadley is visiting Taiwan as part of a delegation sent by the Biden administration to the island following its elections on Saturday where the ruling party's Lai Ching-te won the presidency.
