IMF approves $4.7 bln disbursement in latest Argentina program review

The International Monetary Fund (IMF) on Wednesday approved its most recent review of its Argentina program, allowing an additional disbursement of $4.7 billion to the South American country that is battling a severe economic crisis.

This brings the IMF's total disbursements under the program to about $40.6 billion, it said in a statement.
