NATO Chief Defends Ukraine's Right to Strike
NATO chief Jens Stoltenberg affirmed on Friday that self-defence is not escalation, amid debates on Ukraine's right to strike inside Russia using Western-supplied weapons. Speaking in Prague, he praised western allies for lifting restrictions on weapon supplies to Kyiv.

Self-defence is not escalation, NATO chief Jens Stoltenberg said on Friday amid a vivid political debate whether or not Ukraine's military has the right to strike targets inside Russia with weapons supplied by the West.
Speaking after a meeting of NATO states' foreign ministers in Prague, Stoltenberg said he was pleased to see some of Ukraine's western allies lift the restrictions attached to weapons they supplied to Kiyv.
