In a significant development in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, BJP national vice-president Baijayant Panda has taken a lead in the Kendrapara constituency in Odisha.
The Election Commission announced on Tuesday afternoon that Panda was ahead by 13,714 votes.
Anshusman Mohanty of the BJD trails in second place, while Congress candidate Siddharth Swarup Dash is in third.
