TDP Supremo N Chandrababu Naidu has reaffirmed his party's involvement in the National Democratic Alliance (NDA), stating he will attend a key NDA meeting in New Delhi. He addressed this during a press conference on Wednesday.
Joining him at the meeting will be Janasena party chief Pawan Kalyan, marking their participation as crucial alliance partners following a substantial NDA victory in both the Assembly and Lok Sabha elections held in Andhra Pradesh. The combined success further solidifies their influence in the formation of the central government.
During the press conference, Naidu highlighted the significant challenges faced by Andhra Pradesh over the past five years, alleging severe economic and systemic destruction. He took a veiled jab at the opposition, specifically YSR Congress Party chief Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy, citing his tenure as a cautionary tale of political misconduct and arrogance.
Naidu emphasized the permanence of democracy and the transient nature of political power, cautioning that political parties could fade away if they fail to adhere to principled conduct. He underscored the NDA's commanding vote share in Andhra Pradesh, reinforcing the alliance’s dominant role in the region’s political landscape.
