Narendra Modi Set for Third Term as Prime Minister

Narendra Modi will take the oath as Prime Minister for the third consecutive term, with President Droupadi Murmu inviting him to form the government. The BJP-led NDA secured a comfortable majority in the 18th Lok Sabha. The oath-taking ceremony will take place at Rashtrapati Bhavan on Sunday evening.

In a significant political milestone, Narendra Modi is set to take the oath as Prime Minister for a third consecutive term. President Droupadi Murmu has invited Modi to form the government following the BJP-led NDA's decisive win in the 18th Lok Sabha elections.

The appointment was formalized after BJP chief J P Nadda handed a letter to President Murmu, confirming Modi's election as the leader of the BJP Parliamentary Party. The National Democratic Alliance (NDA) secured 293 seats, ensuring a stable majority.

The oath-taking ceremony is scheduled for 7:15 pm on Sunday at Rashtrapati Bhavan, where Murmu will administer the oath of office to Modi and his Council of Ministers.
