Tragic End for BJP Supporter After Pankaja Munde’s Defeat in Beed

A 38-year-old truck driver, Sachin Kondiba Munde, was crushed under a bus in a suspected suicide after BJP leader Pankaja Munde lost the Beed Lok Sabha polls. The incident occurred near Borgaon Pati, Ahmedpur, and a police probe is underway.

A tragic incident unfolded on Friday night as Sachin Kondiba Munde, a 38-year-old truck driver and staunch supporter of BJP leader Pankaja Munde, was crushed under a bus on Ahmedpur-Andhori road near Borgaon Pati. The police are investigating whether the event was an accident or a case of suicide.

Sachin, a resident of Yestar in Latur's Ahmedpur, had previously released a viral video claiming he would 'be no more' if Pankaja lost the Beed Lok Sabha polls. Despite his palpable sense of despair, Pankaja Munde lost the contest to Congress's Bajrang Sonawane by a narrow margin of 6,553 votes.

The victim's family cited that Sachin had been deeply depressed and had gone silent following the election result. Assistant Inspector Bahuasaheb Khandare disclosed that the Maharashtra State Road Transport Corporation bus involved in the incident had been confiscated as part of an ongoing investigation.
