Narendra Modi Takes Oath for Historic Third Term as Prime Minister
Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha congratulated Narendra Modi for his third consecutive term as Prime Minister. Modi first took office in 2014, and has been re-elected twice. Other prominent BJP leaders, including Rajnath Singh and Amit Shah, were also sworn in as cabinet ministers.

Jammu and Kashmir Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha on Sunday congratulated Prime Minister Narendra Modi for taking the oath for a third consecutive term, calling it a 'historic moment for Bharat.'
Modi, 73, first assumed the prime ministerial role in 2014 and was re-elected in 2019. He won his re-election to the Lok Sabha from Varanasi.
'Historic moment for Bharat! Congratulations to Hon'ble PM Shri @narendramodi Ji on taking the oath for the third term as Prime Minister of India. Under your visionary leadership, the nation will continue to advance on the path of peace, progress, prosperity, and achieve newer heights,' Sinha posted on X.
Modi has become only the second Prime Minister after Jawaharlal Nehru to secure a third consecutive term. Alongside Modi, senior BJP leaders Rajnath Singh, Amit Shah, Nitin Gadkari, Nirmala Sitharaman, and S. Jaishankar were also sworn in as cabinet ministers.
