In Prime Minister Narendra Modi's newly formed council of ministers, Uttar Pradesh and Bihar emerge as frontrunners in terms of representation. Notably, Maharashtra, which faces upcoming assembly polls, has also secured a significant presence.

Uttar Pradesh, sending the highest number of members to the Lok Sabha, has obtained nine ministerial berths, including one Cabinet position. Bihar follows closely with four cabinet positions out of a total of eight ministers. Maharashtra boasts six ministerial berths, featuring two Cabinet ministers.

The distribution highlights the prominence of certain states.
